As someone who has never tasted huashao before, I was pleasantly surprised by the unique flakiness of the skin and the flavorful seasoning of the meat. It was a delightful departure from the usual fried beef dumplings I am accustomed to. To my surprise, I found the huashao to be quite filling. Despite ordering 6 for lunch after a busy morning, I was satisfied after devouring just 5 of them. The service was prompt and the staff was incredibly friendly. I am already looking forward to my next visit, where I plan to try out their dumplings or frozen foods to enjoy at home. Overall, a great experience that will definitely bring me back for more delicious food! ”

The dumplings were a true standout - the perfect balance of meat and cabbage filling with a wrapper that was just the right thickness for our liking. Cooked to a delectable al dente perfection, we couldn't get enough of them! But the real star of the show was the huo shao, which completely blew us away. The flaky crust simply melted in our mouths, reminiscent of a cross between a puff pastry and a scallion pancake, without the scallions but hugging a delicious filling like a burger. We couldn't believe we hadn't tried this before! Not to mention, the noodles we ordered were equally fantastic!
